Local Shingle is a Cotswold Buff colour. It is a very popular general purpose shingle, mostly used for borders and is also used as a bedding shingle when laying underground drainage pipe. When wet this is yellow buff colour and dries to lighter creamy buff tones.

It is recommended that the 20 mm version is used for driveways and paths as the small stones can be brought inside on footwear or get stuck inside tyre treads.

Coverage

  • A jumbo bulk bag will cover approximately 10-12m² at a depth of 50mm.
  • A half jumbo bulk bag will cover approximately 5-6m² at a depth of 50mm.
  • You’ll need approximately three handy bags to cover 1m² at a depth of 50mm
