Description
Our Minster Flagstone-style paving captures the look of aged village flagstones through gently weathered edges and carefully blended colours, creating a genuinely authentic finish for patios, paths, and other garden features.
Designed to suit a wide variety of outdoor projects, the range includes seven sizes, half sizes for steps and coping, and quarter pieces for more detailed features. A paving circle is also available in 1.8m, 2.7m and 3.6m options. Because it is concrete rather than natural stone, Minster Flagstone is more consistent in appearance and less susceptible to weathering, helping your garden keep its intended look for years to come.
Available in four distinctive colours – Old Cotswold, Old Minster, Slate Grey, and Cream – this range can also be paired with Minster Cobble Mat paving and decorative aggregates like Black Cobbles and Beach Pebbles for a coordinated finish.

FAQs
What are the benefits of concrete flagstones vs natural flagstone?
Flagstone-style paving offers a similar aesthetic to natural stone but is typically more affordable, easier to install due to consistent sizing, and less prone to variation in thickness or finish.
Will the paving fade or weather over time?
As a concrete product, our flagstone-style paving is designed to maintain a consistent appearance over time. While all outdoor paving will weather naturally, it is generally less prone to significant colour variation than natural stone paving.
Can I create a random or mixed-size layout?
Yes, we stock multiple different sizes to allow for a more natural, random layout that closely mimics traditional flagstone patio slabs.
Is your flagstone-style paving easy to install?
Yes, compared to natural flagstone, the consistent sizing and thickness make installation more straightforward for both professionals and inexperienced DIYers. Explore our expert tips on how to lay a patio for more information.
Do I need to seal flagstone-style paving?
You don’t necessarily need to seal your flagstone-style paving, although it is recommended to protect your investment. Sealing your paving can also enhance its colour and provide an extra layer of protection against staining.
Can I take away a sample before purchasing?
Yes, samples are available from our Oxfordshire site to help you choose the right colour and finish for your project.
If you’re unable to visit our site, you can call us on 01865 300252 to request small samples (approximately 150 x 150 mm), which can be posted to you for £10 for either one or two samples.
Where is your flagstone paving manufactured?
Our traditionally manufactured concrete paving is handmade in Oxfordshire, using a blend of crushed limestone aggregates, cement, pigments, and reinforced with polypropylene fibres for increased strength and durability.
This traditional process of mould casting manufacture has been honed and crafted for 40+ years. All of our manufactured products are frost-resistant and are ideal for the UK climate.
