Our Minster Flagstone range is a classical range with a beautiful finish.  This decorative concrete paving presents the look and feel of antique traditional flagstones at a cost-effective price. Modelled on traditional reclaimed flagstones with a subtle texture and finish that is reminiscent of a flagstone floor. This range has seven different sizes and four carefully blended colours that can be chosen to suit allowing you to get the right period flagstone paving look for your project.

Please note our cream paving should be laid using white cement or the underside of the slabs primed using a paste mixed using SBR and white cement.

Description

Minster Flagstone paving has been cast from genuine reclaimed old town flagstones creating a charming antique appearance. It has been named this way because it creates a look typical of the village Old Minster, just half a mile down the road from our original premises. The Minster Flagstone Garden Paving Slab has been refined over 40 years which will give a traditional look and feel to your garden design. With excellent detail in the subtle texturing, the choice of colours available as well as the larger sizes that can be used in this range – a truly authentic, traditional look is achieved.

The surface of the Minster Flagstone is smoothed out, with small indentations and tooling marks with weathered type irregular edges to give it a more distinctive design that allows this paving stone to be used as a patio, steps, coping for walls and also as a pathway throughout your garden, too. A paving circle is available within this range in 3 sizes 1.8m, 2.7m and 3.6m and available in half sizes for steps and garden features.

As this is concrete and not natural stone, this garden paving is less susceptible to weathering. This means, over the years, it will have less chance in ageing and changing its appearance, ensuring your garden keeps the original look you intended for it.

Minster Flagstone Garden Paving Slabs for Sale come in 4 colours – Old Cotswold (a mellow Cotswold yellow blend) in Old Minster ( a stone grey colour and slight green tinge when wet), in Slate Grey ( a dark grey colour especially when wet) and Cream (a milky white limestone blended colour)- all distinctively different shades, which can be complemented with  Minster Cobble Mat paving, Black Cobbles Decorative Aggregate and the Beach Pebbles Decorative Aggregate to finish off your garden landscape perfectly.

Bullnose Units for Steps

We also produce Bullnose units to finish of different levels, or to create steps. We supply these to match the colour of the 3 colours in the Worn Limestone paving. Thickness is approximately 38mm.

Minster Flagstone Paving Produced in Oxfordshire

Our traditionally manufactured concrete paving is handmade in Standlake, Oxfordshire, using a blend of crushed limestone aggregates, cement, pigments, and reinforced with polypropylene fibres for increased strength and durability.

This traditional process of mould casting manufacture has been honed and crafted for 40 years plus. all of our manufactured products are frost resistant and are ideal for the UK climate.
