Green Treated Softwood Sleepers

Our green treated softwood sleepers can be laid flat and used as edgings or stacked and interlocked like bricks to create attractive raised beds, patio planters, steps and garden seating and are strong enough for building retaining walls. Being rough sawn, softwood sleepers have a lovely natural texture and age beautifully, but their uniform size and straight edges make them equally at home in rustic and contemporary gardens.
When using as raised beds, it is advisable to line the inside of the sleepers with Damp Proof Membrane to extend the life span. We sell DPM in a variety of mini packs and a full 4 x 25 m roll.
